Furthermore VP1 interacts with the Golgi‐ Matrix and leads to Golgi degradation. VP1 leads to cell‐cycle deregulation elongating the G1/G1‐S phase, while the G0‐phase and the G2‐phase shorten. The cell‐cycle deregulation enhances the CVB3 expression.
